Why Irish Setter?
My love for dogs started in a very young age. I think I was around 7 years old when I started to take care of my neighbours and relatives dogs and I was always very enthusiastic little dog sitter. 10 years of meeting different kind of dogs and breeds gave me a lot of important knowledge and experience. When I turned 17, I moved away from my childhood home and had finally the opportunity to have my very own first dog. As a child i always looked pictures of this beautiful red coated dog and every time the pictures took my breath away. Still I had other breeds on my mind, but when I visited first time in Kennel Fansett, I knew I have found my very own breed.
I got my first Irish Setter in 2003 and there was no turning back. I fell in love to this wonderful breed and I started to dream of breeding Irish Setters.
"The Craizy Irish" is full of life - they do everything in 100% and more. They are loving, gentle, kind, playful, athletic, affectionate and very wise dogs with beautiful brown eyes. They don't leave nobody cold. Where is Irish, there is life. They are the kind of breed that turns heads where ever they go - flaming red coat, racy temperament and energetic attitude, but also a dogs with full of grace.
The beginning of Kennel Jet Star's
I had my third Irish Setter, "C.I.E. By Lv CH Lh W'10 Baltic W'11 Fansett Jet Set Lady", in year 2006. She was co-owned with her breeder Minna Viertola, Kennel Fansett. She was "once in a lifetime dog" and the type of setter who had all the qualities that i admire in Irish Setter. She became the foundation bitch of my small kennel, but most of all she was the love of my life.
She had her first litter under the name "Jet Star's" in year 2011 and second one in 2012. Now this fabulous dog is a Star in the sky, but my biggest dream is that she continues her legecy thru her beautiful children around the world. Home i have her beautiful daughter Jet Star's Lady Jee Jee "Jezzy", who continues her mother's bloodline and have already produced very promising youngsters to our kennel. Allthough I have bred only three litters and just starting my breeding work, I'am very proud to say that we have imported Jet Star's setters to Russia, Sweden, Ukraine and UK.
I want to say thank you to Minna for giving me the opportunity to have such amazing dogs, being my menthor and friend thru these years, believing in me and most of all being there always for me. I hope "Fansett" and "Jet Star's" have many co-working years ahead!
